|
| Q: What do I need to run the Trezur app on my PC? |
A: You'll need the following:
- Microsoft Windows XP, Vista or 7
- Apple iTunes (at least version 7.7.1)
- About 25MB free space
- A sound card capable of playing music from iTunes
- Speakers (built-in or external) or headphones
- Microsoft .NET (our installer downloads this for you if you don't have it, and it's free)
- A mad jones for music
|
| Q: Does Trezur run on Mac OS X? |
| A: Trezur doesn't currently run natively on Mac OS X. We're huge Mac fans, so don't worry, we'll have a Mac version soon.
You can run Trezur through a virtual Windows environment such as VMWare Fusion, but some users have reported performance issues. Virtual Windows is not currently a supported OS. |
| Q: What if my internet connection drops during download? |
| A: You'll need to start your download over. |
Using Trezur |
Working With Your Music |
| Q: What music does Trezur use? |
| A: Trezur works with the files currently in your iTunes library (displayed in the left pane of the app).
Future versions will interface with Windows Media Player. |
| Q: What audio file formats does Trezur support? |
| A: Trezur supports audio files in the following formats: .mp1, .mp2, .mp3, .ogg, .oga, .ogx, .spx, .wav, .aiff, .aif, .aifc, .flac, .aac, .m4a, .3gp, .mp4. (Yeah, we hadn't heard of all of these either.) |
| Q: Why are some tracks grayed out? |
| A: Trezur grays out tracks in unsupported file formats. This generally means audio files with DRM, or movies. You can filter them out of the display list with the tickbox at bottom left. |
| Q: Does Trezur sync with my iTunes collection every time it starts? |
| A: Yes. You can do it while Trezur is open, too: there's a button at bottom left labeled (you'll never guess) 'Sync with iTunes'. |
| Q: Jenny, Jenny, who can I turn to? |
| A: Do we really need to answer this one? |
Features And Upgrades |
| Q: What does Trezur do? |
| A: The current beta version of Trezur provides lyrics, does vocal reduction, and makes great playlists, for/with your existing music collection. Future versions will have music games (solo & multiplayer). |
| Q: What do I get for free? |
A: The free version of Trezur gives you credits to view lyrics for 10 tracks. If you want more lyrics, you can upgrade to one of several packages in the Upgrade tab.
You can also make playlists based on any one 'seed' track that you pick. Playlists can be up to 20 tracks long in the free version, and you can save them to iTunes to sync with your iPhone/iPod. |
| Q: How do I upgrade? |
A: Go to the UPGRADE tab, where you'll find several packages. You can pay via PayPal. All upgrade subscriptions are good for one year.
Current upgrade options include more lyrics and vocal reduction. Future versions will include premium playlisting, games, and social features. |
| Q: What do I get in Trezur Sing? |
A: Trezur Sing gives you access to our vocal reduction technology that allows you to reduce vocals in your music in real time, so you can sing along. Depending on how you fine tune the reduction, you can still hear the original vocals a little, so you know where you are in the song.
Trezur Sing also includes enough credits for you to view 1,000 song lyrics. |
| Q: Why does the PayPal screen in the UPGRADE tab look weird? |
| A: If you haven't maximized the Trezur screen, PayPal's page can look cramped and have formatting errors. To fix it, just maximize the Trezur screen and you should be good to go. |
| Q: Is she really going out with him? |
| A: Yes, she's really going to take him home tonight. |
